Online tests are administered in TestNav, Pearson's next-generation test delivery platform. TestNav supports many different QTI 2.1 interaction types, styling attributes for interactions, item behaviors, manipulatives, and accommodation and accessibility features, including up to two decimal places for test item point values. The version of TestNav used in Schoolnet is not tied to a specific version of Schoolnet.
TestNav can be delivered in Schoolnet's Secure Tester, an installable application. In Secure Tester, students will not be able to access other parts of their computers, such as web browsers, while taking a test.
Depending on your instance of Schoolnet, you may see another word (such as "assessment") used instead of "test."
Do not republish a test while students are currently taking the test online or errors may occur. When republishing a test, a warning will appear if students have pending test sessions, which indicates they may have an active test session. From the warning message, you can export a list of pending students.
The QTI import and export of an item or a test in a QTI 2.1 standard is supported.
