Test Central

Test Central houses all tests in the Assessments module, regardless of test stage. This repository includes tests from all academic years that your district has used Assessments, and you can search for tests using basic or advanced search criteria. You can even create a new test directly from the Test Central home page.

To search for tests in Test Central:

Go to Assessments > Find for Tests.
Enter search criteria and then click Go. Note that the Admin Date Range will default to the current school year. To search by the date range in which the test was administered, select Custom Date Range enter the dates you would like to search.
Optional: Click Advanced Search to see additional search criteria, such as searching by data collection status, standard sets, test categories, and tests with archivedretired items.
Click a Test Name to go to the Test Details page. See Test Detail for more information.

Publishing tests. The TestNav Status column indicates whether a test is published (indicated by a check mark), in the process of being published (Publishing), or not yet published (the Publish button appears). If a test hasn't been published or needs to be republished, you can click the Publish button. Students cannot take a test, and teachers will not be able to generate answer sheets or access the Score page, until after a test is published. Tests can be published when scheduling a test or from the Test Detail page, but may need to be republished if changes are made.

Do not republish a test while students are currently taking the test online or errors may occur. When republishing a test, a warning will appear if students have pending test sessions, which indicates they may have an active test session. From the warning message, you can export a list of pending students.

Search results sort order. Tests that are Scheduled or Completed are sorted by Start Date, with the most recent tests first. Tests that are in Draft are sorted by the date they were created (from the Master ID), with the most recent tests first.
