The Assessment Dashboard provides shortcuts to test information and tools for administrators. From the dashboard, administrators can view a summary of test information and have one-click access to test details and frequently performed tasks. On the dashboard, administrators have access to the following test information and can perform many test administrative tasks:
- My Tests: A list of all tests you have created, with the most recently modified tests presented first. This includes tests scheduled in Test Windows. For school districts that have integrated the administration of assessments with PowerTeacher Gradebook, administrators who also teach section(s) can quickly share their published and scheduled section tests with their Gradebook. The test types that can be shared include My Classroom, Common Classroom, District Benchmark, Region Benchmark, School Benchmark tests. Upon test completion, student scores are sent to the Gradebook so that they may be included in students' final grades. Depending upon the test stage and details, there are several test actions available:
- Share: and . Allows teachers to share directly with PowerTeacher Gradebook. Upon test completion, scores are sent directly to the Gradebook for assigned sections. The date and time that test data was last sent to the Gradebook is displayed.
- Stop Sharing: Allows teachers to stop sharing with PowerTeacher Gradebook with the option to Keep in Gradebook or Remove from Gradebook. See Edit Sharing with Gradebook for additional information.
- Not Ready to Share: A test has not been scheduled and/or assigned to at least one section before it can be shared with the Gradebook. Click Edit Schedule and Settings and choose the section assignments.
- Unable to Share: Tests must be assigned to sections, not individual students, in order to share with the Gradebook. In addition, a Leader or Teacher can only share tests to the section(s) that they teach.
- Recommended Tests: Appears for school-level administrators only. A list of tests that the district has recommended to schools. School administrators may assign these tests directly to teachers by clicking the Assignment Status and accepting or editing the course-based Quick Assignment.
- In Progress Tests: Tests that have been created and scheduled, and for which the start date is today or earlier. For systems using PowerTeacher, Upon test completion, student scores are sent to the Gradebook so that they may be included in students' final grades.
- Scheduled Tests: Tests that are ready for administration and that have a start date after today’s date.
State-level administrators do not have the ability to manage Test Windows or track test completion. As a result, Upcoming Test Window, In Progress Tests, and Scheduled Tests are not shown on their Dashboard page.
To access the administrator Assessment Dashboard:
- Go to Assessments > Assessment Dashboard.
- In the Find a Test area, enter criteria to locate a test.
- Expand the sections you want to view (see descriptions above).
- Click View All to view more tests for each section up to 50 tests per page.
- Optional: Click a test to view the Test Details.
