1. Go to Assessments > Schedule. You can also go to Find a test and schedule it from the Test Detail page.
2. Click the Edit Test Schedule test button for the appropriate test.
3. Enter the scheduling options. See Schedule a Test.
4. Select one of the following tabs:
   • Assign to Students: Assign the test to students based on their course enrollment (or by section for school tests). Teachers will be required to administer this test to students.
   • Recommend to Teachers: Recommend the test based on course enrollment (or by section for school tests). Teachers will be able to assign this test to students but are not required to do so.
   • Recommend to Schools: Allows district administrators to recommend the test to school administrators who may assign the test to specific courses and teachers.

     State administrators can recommend state tests to districts.

5. Do one of the following:
   • Click Apply Default Assignment to distribute the test to the suggested assignments. Quick assignments are based on the grade and subject defined on the test.
   • Click Select Assignment to select specific courses, teachers, or schools. Select the assignments, and then click Done.
6. On the Schedule a Test page, click Save and Publish.

2. At the top of the page, click Schedule, or click Schedule this Test in the left navigation.

4. Do one of the following:

   • Click Select Assignment to select specific sections or students. Select the sections or students, and then click Save or Done.
5. On the Schedule a Test page, click Save and Publish.

For tests that have been shared with the PowerTeacher Gradebook, updated section assignments are sent to the Gradebook.
