To perform an advanced search for items
- Go to Assessments > Item Banks and click Items for the bank you want to search. You can also search Assessments > Find > Items to search banks with the checkbox selected on the Item Banks page.
- In Search Results, expand Filters at the top left, and then click All Filters. Note that the Select Banks filter appears only when searching All Banks.
- Enter or select the criteria to search on. Click Clear All Filters at the bottom to remove all filters.
- Scoring Model - Select the scoring model: Any, Default, or All or None. All-or-none scoring means that all correct answer choices must be selected to award points.
- Task - Only show Composite items (2 activities) - Select to show only composite tasks (tasks that have exactly two activities) in the search results.
- Only show Open Response items linked to Rubrics - The search results will show only open response items that are linked to rubrics.
- Task Scoring Model - Select the scoring model: Both, Default, or Pattern scoring. Tasks with pattern scoring contain two activities. Activity A will award points if it is correct. Activity B will award points only if activity A is also correct.

- No. of ExposuresRepresents the number of times an item has been used on a test.
- P-ValueRepresents an index of an item’s difficulty, which is evaluated by dividing the number of correct responses by the number of students who responded to the question.
- Estimated Response TimeRepresents the average amount of time students took to read and answer a test item on an online test.
- Item MeanThe average score for student responses to an open response or to a multi-part question, which is calculated by dividing the sum of the points earned for the item by the number of students who responded.
- N-countThe number of students who responded to an item.
- Item Total Score CorrelationThe correlation between the question score and the overall test score which is an indication of the extent to which success on an item corresponds to success on the test.
- Click Apply Filters to view the search results.
Basic filters & Item Properties

| Subject | Refine your search to specific subject(s). |
| Grade Level | Search a targeted grade range for the item. |
| Standards | Click Select Standards to select standards to search on. |
| Text Search | Enter the text to search on, and select whether to include All Words or Any Words in the search. The search engine looks at the item name, question and passage content, answer choices, and keywords. Word order and quotation marks are not considered. |

| Show Only Items Linked to a Passage |
Select this checkbox to search only for items that are linked to a passage. After selecting this option the passage properties filters will appear, including the option to Only show items with multiple linked passages.

| Show only items that are aligned to an archived standard(s). | Select this checkbox to search for items with archived standards if this functionality is supported in your system (this is uncommon). You can then assign an active standard to reactive an item. |

| Keyword | Enter keywords as defined by the item creator. |
| Name | Search for the item name defined by the item creator. |
| Author | The person who created the item in Assessments. |
| Created by Me | Search for items you have created. |
| Publisher | Original publisher of the item/passage (e.g., Kaplan, ETS). |
| Date Added | Search for items created during a specified date range. Dates may span across multiple years and does not need to be for a specific school-year. Results display in descending order by the date in which items are originally created and saved in the system. For imported items, the create date is the date in which items are imported into the system. |
| Exclude items already used on my scheduled tests from this year | Excludes items you have already used on tests scheduled during the current school year. Items used by other people will not be excluded from the search results. |
| Date Last Modified | Search for items modified during a date range. |
| Last Modified By | Search for items modified by a specific user. Enter their first or last name, then select the user from the list. |
| Authored Difficulty | Search for items based on their difficulty. |
| Bloom’s Taxonomy |
Select the Bloom’s levels you would like to include in search results. You may select multiple levels. If no selection is defined, all Bloom’s levels AND items without Bloom’s specifications will be included in results: |

| Webb's DOK | Select the Webb's Depth of Knowledge level. |
| Question Language |
Search by languages as defined by the item creator. This property is available for school districts with system configurations to support multiple languages. Supported languages include:

| QTI Export Eligibility | Search for items that are eligible or ineligible to export from Schoolnet. See Export Items. |
| Custom categories | Search on custom categories defined in your system. |

Enter the appropriate values to locate items within specified performance ranges.
