System Admin Bank Search
System administrators can use the System Admin Bank Search to change the bank owner, bank managers, and other settings. This allows system operators to access banks that are not shared with them so that they can manage banks that belong to inactive users.
To manage item banks:
- Go to Assessments > Item Banks.
- At the top of the page, click the System Admin Bank Search link. This link appears only for system operators.
- In the dropdown, select whether to search by bank name or owner.
- Bank Name: Type at least one complete word of the bank name, click the Search button, and then select the appropriate bank. Partial words will not return search results. Personal banks will not appear (use the owner search for personal banks). Hover over a bank to see more information.
- Bank Owner: Begin typing the user's name, and then select the appropriate user (a list of users will appear when you begin typing). A list of their banks will appear, including their personal bank. Select the appropriate bank.
Modifying a user's Personal Bank will convert it to a public bank. The name "Personal Bank" is reserved, so you must change the name of the bank. If the original bank owner returns to the Item Banks page, a new Personal Bank will be generated for them. After converting a Personal Bank to a public bank, you cannot change the public bank back to a Personal Bank.
- After selecting a bank, click Manage Bank.
