My Classroom

The My Classroom widget allows teachers and instructional managers to access various classroom tools. It is generally the top element on the home pageThe dashboard most users of the system see first when they log in. It can also be accessed throughout the system by clicking the schoolhouse icon in the left corner of any page. Some users may know this as My Schoolnet..

My Classrooms widget displays information for active sections only. If you do not have the View reporting dashboard and published reports operation for a school with sections that you can see, then those section will be disabled.

Teachers and instructional managers can use the My Classroom widget to access the following information.

Description

Reports

Click Reports to go to the Reporting Dashboard for the currently selected scope. Here you can access various reports, such as:

  • Standards Analysis
  • Student Analysis
Planner
Materials Search
Search for all types of materialsMaterials is the generic term that encompasses curricular units, instructional units, lesson plans, resources and assessments. Published materials are searchable in the Materials Bank., including Curricular Units, Instructional Units, Lesson Plans, Assessments, Resources, Standards, Curriculum, and Courses.
  • Basic Search: Enter keywords such as titles, topics, or terms contained within the material and click Search.
  • Advanced Search: Refine the search criteria by selecting one or more subjects or grades from the corresponding drop-downs. Users with assigned sections will have their corresponding subjects and grades preselected.

Results matching the criteria display in the Classroom module.

Leave the search field blank and click Search to return all results for the grade(s) and subject(s) selected.

Assessments
Access the Test Dashboard in Assessments where teachers and instructional managers can work with Active, Benchmark, and Classroom tests by utilizing tools to score, download, download instructions, generate answer sheet, view user names, and go to the Test Proctor Dashboard.

Website

Display basic information about the selected class including the region, section, grade, subject, and teacher name. To see the same information for other active classes, click on the section drop-down.
Today's Instruction
Below the buttons, Today's Instruction lists suggested materials for the selected section. Click a link to view a material.
