Teachers can create a test in Schoolnet and then share it with Gradebook. In order for a test to share between Schoolnet and PowerTeacher Gradebook, the test category needs to be active.

To share a Classroom Test with Gradebook:

1. Click the Assessment Admin heading and find a test in the Ready to Schedule stage.
2. Click the test's title to get to the Test Detail page, then click Schedule.
3. Select a test start date, a test end date, and a score due date. The Schoolnet end date is added as the Date Due in PT Gradebook when you share the test.
4. Click the Share scores with my PowerTeacher Gradebook check box. If you want to grade part of the test (for example, open response test items) before sending the test results to Gradebook, then do not click the check box at this point. Instead, see the directions on how to share an already scheduled test.
5. Check the appropriate online test options, and assign the test.
6. Click Save. A message will confirm that you have shared the assessment with Gradebook. Once you set the test in Schoolnet to share with PT Gradebook, then Schoolnet becomes the source of record for that test. This means that, if you make changes to that test within PT Gradebook, your changes may be overwritten if a subsequent update is received from Schoolnet. To keep data from being overwritten, you must turn off Gradebook sharing for that test within Schoolnet.

One of the categories in the PT Gradebook must be Test.

To share an already scheduled test with Gradebook:

1. Click the Assessment Admin heading and find the test that you want to share.
2. Click the test's title, then, under Gradebook, click Share Now.
